IBU2 Ultimate
The IBU2 Ultimate is a Multi Function Unit for radio controlled tanks of 1/16 scale. Featuring realistic sound effects, lighting and user customisability all from a hobby grade 4-8 channel radio set (AM, FM, 2.4Ghz).
It is available in two versions IBU2U Base (4 Channel) and IBU2U Full Option (8 channel)

The specification is the same as the regular IBU2U Base but with these additional enhancements:

IBU2U Base Specification
- Control via proportional transmitter (4 channels required)
- Plug and play for Heng Long tanks (Up to version 5.3, then minor amends required as detailed in the manual) *
- Plug and play for Taigen tanks *
- Taigen airsoft recoil support
- Fully Tamiya compatible IR system (IR code, tank classes, tank slowdown)
- Compatibility with IBU first series repair function to simulate a repair tank (bergepanzer) with IR range limitation via jumper
- Proportional track control (including spinning), with transmitter-switchable momentum linked to tank class
- 20A max per track channel (software limits can be changed), with current monitoring and limitation
(warning flashes on apple LED, if selected) - Improved driver controls
- Track power is enough to drive a HL tank, even on grass or slopes, with stock gearboxes
- Both direction elevation control from transmitter without rewiring
- Headlights and tail lights can be switched on and off by transmitter
- Working brake light (May need alterations to existing wiring if tail lights are shared with headlights)
- All controls (turret, gun, lights, etc.) are available even with engine stopped
- Support for tamiya-style and servo recoil
- Improved servo recoil action (fast return, slowing to a stop)
- Duel smoker ports (1 proportional for fan, 1 switched for heater)
- Proportional control of smoke generator (full power during engine startup, then proportional to engine revs)
- Smoke generator can be switched on/off via remote
- Digitally mixed sound (multiple sounds can be played at once)
- 16bit sounds & 8bit sounds can be used and inter mixed

The specification is the same as the regular IBU2U Base but with these additional enhancements:
- Servo elevation output
- Servo traverse output
- Both servo outputs can be programmed to use a regular servo or continuous rotation servo
- Both servo outputs can be reversed and have their speed altered
- Allows 5 to 8 channel radios to be used
- Can control volume via radio (as long as radio is suitable)
- Supports clutch style gearboxes
- Can use IBU3 sound files
- Exclusive sound tank sets will be available
- Choice of 6 inertia curves
- 4 user sound effects with unlimited file size
